It is a known fact that one of the most essential beverages in all our lives is coffee. And in honor of National Coffee Day this weekend, we are giving you the top 5 best coffee shops to celebrate this important holiday near Baker Block.

Contra Coffee and Tea

First up is Contra Coffee and Tea. Located at 115 N Orange, Contra Coffee is known for their ice cold brews. Particularly their Vietnamese iced coffee called the Gold Rush. If you are having trouble choosing or committing to just one of their brews, you can request to try multiple from their tap list. Even better, the baristas have samples on deck for you to test before buying. With a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, the Contra Coffee and Tea shop is definitely one to order in for.

Kean Coffee

Over in Tustin on 13681 Newport Ave. Ste 14 is Kean Coffee. If you are looking for a delicious mocha, then this is the place for you. That especially goes for their Mayan Spiced Mocha. This quaint and homey coffee shop also serves up a delicious Honey Vanilla Latte.  

BLK Dot Coffee

For any of you who happen to be in Irvine on National Coffee Day, then you must stop by BLK Dot Coffee. Located at the Spectrum Center, BLK Dot is open from 6:30 AM to 5 PM. When it comes to their brews, they also have an iconic Vietnamese brew called their VTM. A great place to study and get work done, BLK Dot is a definite hot spot for all you coffee lovers out there.

Inside Epic Yoga in San Clemente is our next coffee shop. Called High Tide Coffee Co., they serve up a fantastic Lavender Latte with wildflower honey. So, for anyone in need of a great morning stretch with a cup of joe after, then make your way over to Hightide Coffee Co.

Finally, we have the Portola coffee house in Costa Mesa. For anyone in need of an out of this world espresso, make your way over to Portola. They also have a great selection of baked goods including vegan options. That said, anyone looking to have a latte with a cookie or croissant, be sure to make it happen over at Portola’s.
