Celebrating Fathers Day near Baker Block

Welcome back, neighbors! Another very important day is upon us. Next Sunday, June 17th, is Fathers Day. To make sure everyone has something to do, we have a list of events for all you Baker Block residents to celebrate your dad in Orange County.

Fathers Day Brunches

Old World German Restaurant

First up are all the brunches happening in the area. To start, there is the all you can eat Old World German Restaurant Brunch. Located in Huntington Beach at 7561 Center Ave. #49 at Old World, your dad can feast his eyes, and stomach, on some of the best, authentic German dishes in town. From Slow-smoked Pork Loin to Boneless Chicken Breast, there is no shortage of prime meat here. This all you can eat brunch also includes a new Champagne, infused with grapefruit and Hefeweizen beer! Do know that this is a reservation only event so reserve your family a spot while you still can.

Orange County Mining Co.

You also can never go wrong with taking your dad to the Orange County Mining Co. On Sunday, head on over for a special brunch with flair. From fixing your own ice cream sundaes to unique decor, OC Mining Co. is a fun, kid-friendly event filled with good times only.

Keeping it Local

If you are looking to keep it super local, Water Grill at South Coast Plaza is throwing their own brunch. Featuring a raw bar with over 15 different kinds of oysters, dad is sure to enjoy some of the best seafood in the OC.  There is also a tasty brunch at Seasons 52 and The Capital Grill. All of these brunches are reservations only so whichever you choose, be sure to click the links and reserve a table now.

 

Chili at the Beach

Also in Huntington Beach is the one and only Chili at the BeachOn Saturday, June 16th, you can hang by the water and enjoy a Chili Cook-Off and Salsa Tasting Contest. This delicious event also includes a marketplace! Best of all, each vendor is selling something geared towards your Dad’s interests. There is also tons of live music here. Other than the chili and salsa tastings, this is a free family event! So head on over to Main street on Saturday and start your Father’s Day weekend off right.
