What to do for Labor Day in Orange County

August 26th, 2018

Hello neighbors! Labor Day is almost upon us. To be prepared, we have provided a list of all the fun events happening near Baker Block to honor our hard-working Americans.

Santa Ana

First up is the Labor Day 3-Day party weekend. Head on over to Santa Ana and dance up a storm with DJ Beneficial. Bottle service will be available and table service includes a private lounge area right in front of the DJ. Best of all, this event is free all night long. However, please take note that this is a 21+ event.

Labor Day Cruise

For those of you who want to spend Labor Day near the water, then head on over to the OC Fair and Event Center. On both Saturday and Sunday have yourself a Labor Day Cruise. Going from 8 am to 5 pm, enjoy a 1.25-mile cruise route featuring more than 1,200 classic street rod and muscle cars. Tons of great food included, this is a kid-friendly event as well. You have the option of going for one day GA for $15. Or, you can take on both days for $25. As far as the kids are concerned, they get in for free.

Huntington Beach

Then there is Huntington Beach. First up is the Huntington Beach Concerts in the Park. Head on over with friends and family for a free concert series. Also, have yourself a lovely beach day with a picnic. Then there is the Huntington Beach Historical Society’s Civil War Days. Head on over to 18000 Goldenwest St. to a reenactment of America’s Civil War. Enjoy the show either Saturday, September 1st at 1:30 pm, or Sunday, September 2nd at 11 am. Best of all, this is a free event.

No matter where you choose to celebrate, you are bound to have a great weekend. So mark your calendars, make your reservations now, and have a fantastic Labor Day in Orange County.
