Fashion Island: Holiday Fun Near Costa Mesa

Winter is practically upon us and you know what that means. Tons and tons of family fun, eating, and shopping! A lot of us will definitely be traveling and visiting family outside of California. However, some of us will be having our holiday fun right here in Costa Mesa. So if you plan on staying home for the holidays, here are some of the exciting seasonal activities you can enjoy over at Fashion Island.

Holiday Fun #1: Shopping

First and foremost is all the shopping you can do. Seeing as how we are changing seasons it is essential to make sure you have an updated winter wardrobe. When it comes to woman’s apparel, you ladies have quite a bit to choose from. Fashion Island has Alice + Olivia, Anthropologie, BCBG, FOREVER 21, Athleta, and so much more. As far as men are concerned, you have a great selection as well, from Bonobos, TravisMathew, and even VINCE. Fashion Island also has all four major department stores! So that includes Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom. Best of all, their Neiman Marcus includes a Gucci store and Giorgio Armani. For those of you with kids, you can head on over to stores like Peek, Splendid, or Engine Ear Toys to pick up a little something for your little one.

Holiday Fun #2: Dining

With all the stores at Fashion Island, you can be sure that there are just as many places to dine. When it comes to Fashion Island you have the option of grabbing a snack while shopping, having a nice sit-down meal, and even shopping for groceries! When you are in the mood for something quick and casual, stop and get yogurt from Pinkberry, a juice a Pressed Juicery, or some tacos at Wahoo’s Fish Taco. If you are looking for full-service dining, you should definitely grab a bite at Blue C. Sushi, their Mediterranean restaurant Fig and Olive, or the classic Cheesecake Factory. Last but certainly not least, they have a Whole Foods and if you plan on cooking for the holidays, you can go grocery shopping as well as gift shopping. So no matter what your cravings are, there is definitely something for everyone to eat over at Fashion Island.

Holiday Fun #3: Christmas Activities

For all of you families out there, you can be sure that there are a ton of fun events to enjoy during the holiday season, including your annual photo with Santa Claus. He will be there during the morning as well as early evening from now until December 24th. Also, if you are looking for the perfect date night, head on over to Fashion Island’s Friday Night Flix. All month long you can cozy up next to your loved ones and enjoy all the Christmas classics. On December 1st, they will be playing White Christmas. On December 8th, they will be airing The Holiday, and on December 15th they will be showing National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
