Top 3 Places You Have to Visit in Anaheim
September 5th, 2018
Believe it or not but Anaheim has so many fun spots to visit beyond Disneyland. Luckily for all you Baker Block residents, the city of Anaheim is only 17 miles away from Costa Mesa. That said, here are the top three places you have to visit while in Anaheim.
Anaheim Packing District
For those of you who don’t know, Baker Block is close to the most walkable culinary collection of artisans in California. With over 35 talented vendors, the Anaheim Packing District has tons of wonderful shops and restaurants. Do note that there is a lot there to explore. When you go, we highly suggest stopping by BXCR Wine Bar and Hans’ Homemade Ice Cream shop. This upscale food court with local vendors and bars is located at 440 S Anaheim Blvd. Open daily from 9 AM to 11 PM, be on the lookout for their monthly events often featuring live music.
Gardens
There are also various gardens in the area. The first being Cerritos Sculpture Garden in Cerritos, California. Here you will find a quaint and peaceful sculpture garden. With a total of seven statues, this garden is a lovely setting of the City’s public art. The second is the Oak Canyon Nature Center. This nature preserve has 58 acres and combines three different canyons of the Santa Ana foothills where you can explore a number of different trails. Located at 6700 E Walnut Canyon Road, Oak Canyon is open daily from 7 AM to 5:30 PM.
Club 33
Finally, there is Club 33. Now, for those of you who are Disneyland fanatics you already know about Club 33. For those who don’t, it is an extension of Disneyland and a private club. The easiest way to gain access to Club 33 is to either become a member or to know someone.
Well, there you have it. Some of these Anaheim attractions are close to nothing or quite expensive. Nonetheless, you are bound to have a fun time exploring the secret areas of Anaheim, California.
