Valentines Day: The most romantic date spots in Orange County
February 8th, 2019
It is February which can only mean one thing, Valentines Day! Lucky for all you Baker Block neighbors, there are tons of romantic ways to celebrate this day of love in Orange County.
Newport Gondola Ride
First up is an authentic Venetian gondola ride in Newport Beach. Float along the Newport harbor just the two of you with a glass of champagne. You have tons of different gondola cruises to choose from. Book any one of them today here. However, we highly suggest the Valentine Cruise. Best of all, if you happen to already have Valentine’s Day plans, you can take this cruise February 9th, 14th, 15th, and even the 16th.
Waterfront Stroll
Nothing beats a romantic sunset stroll and living in the OC gives you tons. The best romantic strolls along the water include San Clemente, the Huntington Beach Pier, and Laguna Beach. As far as dining is concerned, you could pick a restaurant nearby but it is much more romantic to bring your own and have a picnic before your sunset stroll.
Whale Watching
That’s right! You read correctly. Over at the Dana Point Wharf, there is a treasure trove of sea life. All you have to do is book a tour with Dana Wharf Whale Watching.
Valentines Day at a Wine Bar
With all these different choices outside of Costa Mesa, some of you may want to stay a bit more local. That is where the wine bars come in. Here in Costa Mesa, there are tons! For instance, we have the Wine Lab at 2937 Bristol St. We also have the We Olive & Wine Bar on 3313 Hyland Ave., plus Hi-Time Wine Cellars at 250 Ogle St. And that is not all! You can also celebrate your love at Seasons 52 or LCA Wine.
As we always suggest, staying at your Baker Block home with a glass of wine with your loved one is always an option. However you celebrate, we hope all you Baker Block couples have a wonderful Valentines Day! And happy Singles Appreciation Day to all singles out there.
